Susan Lyons’ first two novels took five first places in contests in 2007. “Champagne Rules” and “Hot in Here” between them won the Bookseller’s Best Award for single title contemporary, the Bookseller’s Best Award for first book, the More Than Magic award for erotic romance, the Golden Quill for erotic romance and the Aspen Gold for erotic romance.

Catherine Kean's medieval historical romance A Knight's Vengeance won second place in the Historical Category of Lake Country Romance Writers' 2007 Barclay Gold Contest.

The cover of Opal Carew's SWING won fifth place in the "Judge a Book By It's Cover" contest, sponsored by Houston Bay Area RWA.
